The gardeners arrived this morning before I was even dressed! Here are some photos of their progress, they seem to have done quite a lot for one day but they tell me it will take four to six weeks. I hope we have some rain but not too much.

ve just put it here because I love looking at it from the garden. It looks so pretty.

We still call this the pool hut even though we haven’t had a pool for fifteen years, I suppose we could start calling it “the garden house” as Adam the gardener does.

This is all that we have left of the old fishpond. I am sad to see this go because it is home to so much wild life. It used to have newts but when the frogs came their tadpoles ate all the newt spawn. We've saved lots of tadpoles for the new pond.

I'm rather pleased about this, we have reclaimed about 15 feet of garden from a very rampant hedge. The whole garden is going to seem so much bigger.
